Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical check out and commissioning for converting roll machines

• Maintain and service customer production equipment according to Valmet service procedures and safety processes

• Provide prompt assistance to solve technical issues during testing phase and related to processes, machinery or tools at customer’s site or remotely

• Carry out processes checks and quality control to improve product quality and propose improvement solutions to the customer

• Perform scheduled maintenance on customer installations to ensure and optimise equipment performance

• Proactively evaluate and suggest spare parts or improvements to the customer for equipment update

• Carry out training to the customer’s site or in-house

• Collaborate with the technical department for solve or improve technical solutions

• Ensure the achievement of predefined objectives guaranteeing customer satisfaction within the agreed timeline

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Technical school diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar fields

• 2-3 years of experience as Mechanical Technician in manufacturing industry, experience in converting industry is a plus  

• Proficiency with MS Office 365, SAP and 2D-3D CAD

• Structured approach to complete tasks accordingly to targets and schedule

• Structured and systematic approach to execute given tasks

• Strong skills in complex troubleshooting

• Service orientation

• Good interpersonal and communication skills and proactive approach to work

• Respect for quality standards and safety procedures

• Strong work ethic

• Availability and willingness to travel

• Fluent in English and ItaliaN
