We are looking for a CSA (Civil, Structural and Architectural) Lead Engineer to drive industrial construction projects within Valmet’s Pulp, Energy and Circularity business area. As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will support our customers by delivering the buildings that house Valmet’s power plant and pulp mill technologies worldwide. These structures include heavy industrial steelwork, platforms, cladding, and concrete structures.
This position is based in Tampere.
What you’ll do
As the CSA Lead Engineer, you will serve as the project’s building‑scope expert from sales through to handover. You will collaborate closely with customers, contractors, engineering disciplines, and supply management. Your responsibilities cover the full spectrum of CSA project management, including engineering coordination, scheduling, and contract management. You will also plan and support the procurement of CSA components as well as the installation work carried out at site.
Expectations for you
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, preferably with a major in construction management and economics, or structural engineering.
- You have more than three years of experience in construction project management or structural engineering.
- Experience in industrial energy projects and strong knowledge of structural steel are significant advantages
- You communicate fluently in English; skills in Finnish or other languages are an advantage.
- You are willing to travel internationally occasionally.
