Engineer for Pulp, Energy & Circularity Business Area (based in Chennai, India)

We are looking for “Engineer” to be based in Chennai, India. This position reports to “Manager, Engineering, India”. In this position you will have an opportunity to carry out all engineering activities associated with Plant Engineering and Piping for all kinds of projects and wherever required to play a lead engineer role if nominated in coordinating, directing and carrying out all activities of engineering.
In this position, you will be required to,
Develop and carry out engineering for plant engineering & piping including layout, support engineering, detailed design and associated engineering calculations. To carry out basic modeling of Boiler & Evaporator area consisting of various equipment, platform, structures and other items considering various aspects such as operation, maintenance, access requirements, load data for structures, general arrangement drawings etc. To interface with COMOS, Mfile etc. To coordinate with all agencies for receipt of inputs and maintain schedule. To provide deliverables meeting the quality requirements. Managing and development of the reporting Engineers / Designers
To succeed this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. 5-10 years of experience in relevant field. Knowledge of Codes & Standards, E3D and AutoCAD. Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
