The Commissioning Engineering & Service Technician - Packaging will be part of the Assembly & Check Out Team and the role will maintain, repair and service customer production equipment and systems.
Key responsibilities:
Set up and start packaging machines at customer sites
Install, service and upgrade equipment in accordance with detailed instructions and work orders
Perform functional tests
Conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns
Maintain accurate service records so that the performance of equipment can be monitored
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical or software issues.
Ensure systems operate according to safety standards
Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance
Document service activities and machine performance
Punch list management with customers and resolution
To succeed in this role you should have/be:
Mechatronics or technical diploma
Proven experience at least 3 years
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components and automation.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Able to manage multiple projects/orders simultaneously
Fluent spoken and written both English and Italian a third language is a plus
Open to travel at least 140 days per annum
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills

Able to work under pressure
