Position Summary
Responsible for providing, supervising and maintaining quality patient care in accordance with agency philosophy and policies through planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating services. This person or similar alternate is available at all times during operational hours and participates in activities with respect to professional services.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience
At least three (3) years of experience in the clinical area of responsibility and two (2) years of experience in a home heal based environment. A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
Skills
Current and valid licensure by the State of New Jersey as a Registered Nurse. Computer literacy required. Must possess clear evidence of integrity and the highest standards of ethical conduct. Must demonstrate an ability and willingness to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team, motivate and win the respect and loyalty of staff, build an excellent team, and accomplish results through others. Must demonstrate strong organization. critical thinking, and analytical skills. Must demonstrate effective interaction and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) to present information or ideas clearly and communicate effectively and pleasantly with people from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Must demonstrate an ability to accurately assess the abilities of others to honestly and tactfully communicate this assessment through regular feedback, including but not limited to the performance appraisal document , and an ability to influence others in a positive manner. Must demonstrate an ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control, or planning of an activity, make generalizations evaluations or decisions based on sensory or judgemental criteria and understand instructions and underlying principles. Must demonstrate an ability to change from one task to another, frequently without loss of composure or efficiency. Current and valid driver's license, registration, inspection sticker and appropriate level of insurance coverage required, to include collision. Employees must adhere to all procedural guidelines in HR Policy 108 including demonstrating an acceptable driving record for the duration of their employment as long as driving continues to be a responsibility of the job.
