Position Summary
In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high quality care. Scope of practice will encompass expert clinical practice, expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers, research leadership (clinical, professional, and systems). Duties are performed in accordance with the NJ Board of Nursing guidelines for Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, primarily in area of specialty.
Special Skills/Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health. Education and Accreditation or a current Registered Professional Nurse and Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program/Masters in Nursing.
Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or for Advanced Practice Nurses a current FNP Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). An ANP Board Certification may qualify in some instances from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Hold a valid, current New Jersey license.
Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered.
Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving.
Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred.
BLS certification
SALARY:
Minimum new grad base salary $122,600 K. Salary commensurate with years of experience as an NP/PA.
