The plant produces front and rear car lights using advanced technology of metallization, assembly and plastic injection including multicomponent and multi-color injections. It has also a fully equipped measurement laboratory with a unique photometric testing tunnel. As a result of growth, Valeo Lighting Systems is currently opening a new Development Center, which focuses on developing and manufacturing lighting systems for passenger cars.
Currently for our entity Valeo Lighting Systems in Chrzanów we recruit Project Buyer:
Your challenges:
Working as a member of a Project Team
Participating in product quotations (CAA creation)
Leading component sourcing and validation processes
Managing project BOM costs
Participating in Project Meetings and Activities (Project review, Sourcing Plan, Technical Steering Committee, Project Management Committee)
Defining and controlling communication flow and content between project team and suppliers
Controlling project purchasing indicators within the given portfolio which includes: sourcing parts inside QCD targets, tracking productivity actions, follow company roadmaps and standards

Experience B2B purchasing & negotiations
Experience in a manufacturing company
Good communication skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Technical background (education or experience)
Multitasking ability, teamwork spirit, result orientation
Fluent English spoken and written

What you'll do
- The Project Buyer will work as a member of a project team, participating in product quotations and leading component sourcing and validation processes. They will manage project BOM costs and control communication flow between the project team and suppliers.
