Job Summary
The Maintenance Trainee (Facilities) will learn and assist in the routine maintenance, repair, and upkeep of company facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and operational environment under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Job Responsibilities
Assist senior maintenance technicians in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, machinery, and infrastructure.
Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot common mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues within the facility.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and report potential maintenance needs or safety hazards.
Support in the repair and replacement of fixtures, fittings, and general building components.
Assist with the installation and relocation of equipment as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and time spent.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Participate in training programs and workshops to develop technical skills and knowledge in various maintenance disciplines.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical vocational training in a related field such as industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical is a plus).
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing principles.
Strong willingness to learn and develop practical maintenance skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
Valid driver's license preferred.
