Job Summary

FTE Mexicana S.A. de C.V. is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Trainee to join our dynamic technology team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various IT functions, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to the successful operation of our company's technological infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support to employees, resolving basic hardware and software issues, and escalating more complex problems to senior IT staff.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Support network operations, including basic troubleshooting of connectivity issues and monitoring network performance.
Contribute to the management and organization of IT assets and inventory.
Learn and assist with the administration of user accounts, permissions, and security protocols.
Participate in IT projects, assisting with research, documentation, and implementation tasks as directed.
Develop and maintain basic documentation for IT processes, procedures, and common solutions.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices through self-study and internal training.
Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager or senior IT staff.

Job Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux a plus), and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
A strong desire to learn and grow within the IT field.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
