JOB SUMMARY
Clean and service all occupied or vacant rooms according to hotel standards
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards
Set-up VIP rooms as assigned
Attend required meetings
Keep work areas clean and organized
Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions.
Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor
BASICS
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
Report any unsafe conditions immediately
Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor
Physical Requirements
Standing/Walking: Frequently. Walking up to two miles per day on cement, tile, asphalt, and carpet.
Crouching (Bend at knees): Frequently. While cleaning guestrooms.
Stooping (Bend at waist): Frequently. While cleaning guestrooms.
Twisting (Knees/waist/Neck): Loading and unloading linen.
Climbing: Occasionally. Climbing to the top shelves in linen rooms.
Reaching (Overhead/extension): Frequently. For Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred
Communicates effectively with others
Works productively with a team
Effective multitasking skills
Composure and patience under pressure
Skilled in working with multiple computer programs

Handling/Grasping: Frequently. Handling linen, trash, and guest cleaning supplies.
Pushing/Pulling: Average weight frequently 50 lbs.
Lifting/Carrying: Average weight frequently 20 lbs.
Working Environment
Interior: To include guestrooms, meeting space, storage closets, lobby, laundry areas; variety of surfaces/ textures.
Exterior: Exposure to variety of elements based on weather conditions (heat/cold/rain/wind/ice)

Hotel Operations or Customer Service preferred
Communicate effectively with others
Works productively with a team
Effective multitasking skills
Composure and patience under pressure
Skilled in working with multiple computer programs- Must be comfortable using devices to communicate with team members and to complete checklists daily (i.e. Alice system.)
