Overview

This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP

Under supervision of the ILD Senior Director and Ops Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the Installation Logistics Directorate operations. The Logistics Coordinator's responsibilities are to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time. The Logistics Coordinator will obtain data necessary for completing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and other reporting requirements as assigned and compiling the information as necessary. The Logistics Coordinator works as a team and understands the daily mission and processes of providing excellent customer service to the customer and ILD leadership. This position is sedentary in nature


Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

  • Member of a team to accomplish provided tasks to standard.
  • Possesses considerable autonomy in completing projects for the Directorate Leadership.
  • Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness.
  • Operates office equipment such as computers, scanners, printers, paper shredders, and etc.
  • Obtain information needed through various means from departments to complete daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual CDRLs and reports.
  • Assists with the completion and review of CDRLs and reports.
  • Ensure compliance of Corporate, company, PWS and other government policies, procedures and standards and reports to the Directorate Leadership.
  • Provide administrative support to the Directorate Leadership, requiring considerable judgment and discretion, to include handling of information of a highly important and confidential nature along with excellent skills in creating spreadsheets, databases, word processing and power point presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • High School Graduate or equivalent.
    • Associates Degree preferred.
    • Possess excellent English oral and written communications skills necessary to clearly convey message to co-workers, customers, and all levels of management.
  • Experience:
    • Three (3) years of experience working in an administrative role.
  • Skills
    • Possess exceptional time management skills.
    • Requires intermediate to advanced knowledge and fluency of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
    • Must be able to multi-task proficiently while meeting short suspense for both scheduled CDRL and unscheduled reports/tasks.
      • Prior LOGCAP Operations preferred.
    • Customer service training.
    • Strong analytical skills.
  • Working Conditions:
    • The majority of the working conditions will be in an office environment and sedentary in nature.
    • The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
    • The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
    • The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
    • Work may require prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical and chemicals.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
