About this role

75% FTE, 12 hour day/night shifts, including every other weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.  You will float between Janesville, Mineral Point and Portage, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN)  to: 

  • Provide emergency critical care and hospital-level care either from the scene of an accident or transporting inter-facility from hospital to hospital.
  • Make a huge difference in the outcome of patients, while partnering with EMS, outside hospitals, and your team to transport the patient to a higher level of care.
  • Spend time working in a truly dynamic environment that is always changing and never predictable.
  • Work as a one-on-one partner with an attending emergency medicine physician.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3 years of recent experience in air medical transport or three (3) years of recent experience in ICU Required
  • 5 years experience in an Emergency Department Required
  • 5 years of combined ED and ICU experience Required
  • Patient transport experience Preferred
  • Air medical transport experience Preferred
  • EMS experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing requirements Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Upon Hire Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Upon Hire Required
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Upon Hire or
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Upon Hire or
  • Trauma Nurse Advanced Trauma Course (TNATC) Upon Hire or
  • Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course (TPATC) Upon Hire
  • Certified Flight RN (CFRN) within 18 months Required or
  • Certified Transport RN (CTRN) within 18 months Required
