Work Schedule
100% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00AM – 5:00PM. Mammo will account for 60% FTE, primarily at University Hospital, with rotation to additional screening sites as needed. Weekend rotations at UW Health Union Corners. The other 40% FTE will be BMD, primarily at University Hospital, with rotation to additional screening sites as needed. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – Mammography to:

  • Perform a wide variety of routine, complex and specialized procedures under the general supervision of the section Team Lead and Radiology Manager.
  • Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in the training of other Imaging technologists, fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training other Imaging technologists.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
 
Work Experience
  • Previous healthcare experience Required
  • 2 years of clinical experience Preferred
 
Licenses & Certifications
  • ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Upon Hire Required
  • Wisconsin Radiological License Upon Hire Required
  • ARRT Mammography (M) certification within 30 months Required
  • CPR certification within 3 months Required
