About this role

60% FTE, evening/night shift. This position has rotating weekends and holidays. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential. You will work at the University Hospital located in Madison, WI. 

Pay:

  • Additional components of compensation may include:

  • Shift Differentials: $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and 4.25/hour weekend as applicable for hours worked.

  • Overtime

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to:

  • Use your knowledge of policies, procedures and practices of the state, university, hospital and Department of Nursing as they relate to the operations of the hospital and clinics. 

  • Bring your knowledge of staffing models and oversee staffing.

  • Prioritize workload /assignments.

  • Utilize your strong professional communication and collaboration skills to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3 years of acute clinical nursing experience Required
  • Previous experience in a formal leadership role (such as Care Team Leader, Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Manager) Preferred
  • Adult and Pediatric experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed RN in the State of Wisconsin Required
  • CPR certification Required
  • ACLS Preferred
  • PALS Preferred
