
The Billing Quality Educator is responsible for providing healthcare consulting services to physicians, residents, allied health professionals and billing staff to support patient care documentation, coding and billing practices according to federal, state and local regulatory compliance standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Experience:
Five years related work experience
Licensure:
CCS-P or CPC certification
Skills:
Demonstrated analytical and research experience
Basic knowledge of and experience utilizing a personal computer
Intermediate word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software skills required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
