Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the initiation, planning, execution and delivery of projects according to agreed deadlines, within scope and specified budget. This includes coordinating collective efforts of project team members and/or third-party contractors in order to deliver value to end clients and foster a culture of excellence.

 

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Developing and managing project plans, timelines and budgets to ensure successful project delivery;
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment;
  • Creating effective working relationships to ensure project requirements are met and deliverables are completed on time;
  • Controlling project goals and scope, managing potential change requests by ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained;
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed;
  • Facilitating project meetings, including kick-off, status and steering committee meetings.
  • Communicating project status, progress, risks and issues to stakeholders and senior management;
  • Adhering to internal change management methodology and ensuring project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date;
  • Overseeing quality controls throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Motivating teams to work together in the most efficient manner.


Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Project Manager?

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or any related field;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in project management in the financial sector, preferably with a unit-linked life insurance company;
  • Proven track record in successfully running complex IT related projects within the financial industry;
  • Advanced technical knowledge of general and specialized applications, software and hardware used in organizations within the financial industry;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, each with its own set of challenges and requirements;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills;
  • Effective negotiations and conflict resolution skills;
  • Self-driven and autonomous;
  • Planning and organisation skills with attention to details;
  • Proven experience in people, risk and change management;
  • Financial and budgeting skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA application (Atlassian) for agile project management;
  • Strong knowledge of Confluence application (Atlassian) for collaboration & knowledge sharing;
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory.


Additional Assets

  • Knowledge and experience on SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework);
  • Understanding and experience on AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology;
  • Other languages proficiency such as French or German is considered as a plus.
