JOB SUMMARY
Join UT Southwestern as a Program Coordinator at the Simmons Cancer Center. As a valued team member, you will oversees day-to-day PRMC submission activities and manage/support REDCap PRMS forms and eIRB PRMC queue. You will facilitate protocol submissions and modifications to ensure timely reviews, approval, and activation of new trials. Additionally, you will coordinate PRMC Committee Meetings, perform quality checks, ensure study submission compliance is 100%25 prior to committee review, monitor studies in the parallel-review process, review monitoring and query responses, corrective actions, and follows up on outstanding requests. The Ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a clinical research environment / setting, ability to read clinical trial protocols, have regulatory and / or IRB experience, experience with Ethos / RedCAP / or Velos, is highly organized and detailed orientated, and has strong Microsoft Office Experience.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

  • Education
    Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field 
     
  • Experience
    5 years Experience in appropriate field or 
    May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education. 
     


JOB DUTIES

  • Analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation and procedures.
  • Develops or oversees development of budget for program.
  • Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program.
  • Establishes program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities; develops and/or approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals.
  • Plans and coordinates special events. Participates in conferences. Presents data and program information.
  • Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Reads literature and attends functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program.
  • May provide supervision to staff members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
