  • UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist shall be responsible for providing a full range of age appropriate speech therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards


Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology with completion of any related clinical requirements (generally) a nine-month clinical fellowship year.
  • Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)
  • New graduate accepted
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence by American Speech-Language, Hearing Association Licensed by the State of Texas

Preferred Requirements: 

  • One year clinical experience
