- UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
- The Supervisor of the Main Operating Room will support the Mission, Vision and Values of the UT Health
- Organization.
- This position is responsible for assisting in the organization and administration of clinical services
- within the Main Operating Room.
- They direct, supervise and function as a resource to all staff in the Main Operating Room alongside the OR Manager.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma, Associates Degree, and Graduate of Accredited Nursing School
- One to two years of supervisory and staff management experience required
- Current Texas RN License
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
Preferred Job Requirements:
- BSN
- CNOR
