- UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level IV stroke center; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.
Responsibilities
- The Lead Patient Service Representative is the internal and external first point of contact in
- response to patient and clinic issues.
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations at the front desk.
- Oversees patient flow to ensure patient wait times are minimized.
- Acts as the point of contact for patient complaints and assists in resolving the issue in collaboration with the clinic manager.
- The Lead Patient Service Representative assures that the delivery of high quality, cost efficient care that support the UT Health primary care model.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required Experience:
- Experience posting payments and charge entry
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinic or healthcare setting
