Underground Miner (3rd Shift)

<p><strong>Role &amp; Responsibilities: </strong></p><p>• Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within an industrial quarry/mine setting. </p><p>• Operate multiple pieces of off-road heavy equipment in the process of mining gypsum. </p><p>• Basic troubleshooting/maintenance skills to facilitate equipment performance. </p><p>• Recording of production data and other results in the manner required. </p><p>• Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision. </p><p>• Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.</p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements: </strong></p><p>• Some prior experience operating off-road equipment is preferred. </p><p>• Able to operate assigned mobile equipment in a safe manner. </p><p>• Must possess a valid driver's license. CDL a plus but not required. </p><p>• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks. </p><p>• Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment. </p><p>• Team player, good communication skills needed with all co-workers. </p><p>• Maintain regular and predictable attendance. </p><p>• Must be able to pass ATF (Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms) Employee Possessor clearance. </p><p><strong>Additional Information: </strong></p><p>• Shift: 3 rd </p><p>• Department: Mine</p><p></p><p>Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.<br></p><p>USG employees enjoy a number of benefit options for themselves and their families.
