This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Mill General Foreman. The Mill Maintenance Technician will be versed in preventative maintenance programs with proficiency in digital tools and a wide range of general maintenance skills. Hours of work may vary and be irregular with shift work required from time to time based on business needs.</strong></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);"><strong>As Mill Maintenance Technician, you will:</strong></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);"><strong>-</strong></span><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">Conduct planned preventative & predictive maintenance on various equipment and keep accurate maintenance records</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-Perform audits and inspections in all areas of the plant as required</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-Operate plant mobile equipment including snow removal and yard maintenance equipment</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-Troubleshoot various plant mechanical equipment, recommending and implementing corrective action and repairs</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-General knowledge of facility management requirements, including plumbing, general carpentry, welding and fabrication</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-Actively support company values and initiatives around diversity & inclusion, continuous improvement, training & development, etc.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-Understand that safety is not just a priority, it is what we do.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);"><strong>What you bring:</strong></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);"><strong>-</strong></span><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">Skilled trades certification is an asset, but equivalent experience and technical expertise may be considered</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-Proven mechanical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills required with experience following preventative maintenance programs</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-Availability of basic tools with knowledge of general plumbing, carpentry, welding and fabrication</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-Experience in crushing / milling and ship loading procedures are nice to have but not required</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;background:white;"><span style="color:rgb(45, 45, 45);">-Proficient in the use of digital tools and platforms ie.
