About this role

As a Supply Chain Coordinator – Customs with Alta Genetics/URUS, you will be responsible forcoordinating domestic and international imports and exports of genetic material. You will manages customs clearance, documentation, billing, client communication, and system transactions to ensure compliant,timely, andaccurateshipments. 

This role ensures seamless execution of the order-to-invoice process while providing high-quality customer service to both domestic and international clients. 

The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between clients, embryo transfer (ET) centers,warehouseteams, andlogisticspartners to ensure compliance, accuracy, andtimelydelivery. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate and clear custom imports, ensuringaccurateandtimelysubmission of all required documentation 
  • Prepare export documentation by destination, including health certificates, commercial invoices, and packing lists 
  • Communicate with clients, genetic centers, and freight forwarders to confirm shipment details, timelines, insurance, and values 
  • Track inbound imports to ensuretimelyarrival, unsealing, and compliance with handling requirements 
  • Quote freight options and request airfreight pricing for domestic and international shipments 
  • Process billing and credit card payments
  • Set up client accounts, items, and sales orders in JDE
  • Verify export eligibility of genetic material 
  • Manage storage contracts, ensure signed agreements are on file, and apply storage credits when applicable 
  • Assistthewarehouseteam in receiving products, verifying paperwork, and ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., CFIA and export regulations)

 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Experience in logistics, import/export, customs, or supply chain coordination 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously 
  • Proficiencywith ERP systems (JDE preferred) and Microsoft Office 
  • Strong communicationand organizational skills
