The CT Technologists performs CT scans according to established protocols. The CT Technologists demonstrates an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. The CT Technologists maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. The CT Technologists maintains knowledge and awareness of radiation protection and safety during all radiographic examinations. The CT Technologists prepares for and assist the radiologist with intricate CT examinations including a range of tissue biopsies and fluid drainages. The CT Technologist will prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure as well as state and federal regulations.
