  • Track and follow up on leads, send thank-you emails the same day, and calls within 24 hours.
  • Assist with roommate matching and coordinate move-in processes, including gate codes, parking decals, and utility setups.
  • Support Turn: communicate resident requests/issues during apartment turnovers and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
  • Stay informed on competitor rental rates, features, and specials to help market your community effectively.

Daily / Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Open and close leasing office, perform model and amenity inspections.
  • Answer calls, emails, and voicemails promptly.
  • Maintain signage, banners, and leasing notebook.

  • Conduct outside marketing efforts as directed.
  • Complete audits of lease files and system data.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Professional, enthusiastic demeanor with strong customer service, sales, and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to effectively communicate benefits of the community to students, parents, and university personnel.
  • Team player, organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Able to read and understand lease documents, apply basic math, and follow instructions.
  • Patient, even-tempered, and works well under pressure.
  • Flexible with schedules: weekends, summer work, and part-time hours required.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, leasing, or marketing is a plus.

Physical Demands & Environment:

  • Work indoors and outdoors, including walking, standing, lifting up to 10 lbs., climbing, and occasional stooping/kneeling.
  • Exposure to changing weather conditions.
