University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake & South Lake Union outpatient Echocardiography and Cardiology Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a REGISTERED NURSE (RN).

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 100% FTE, 40 hours/weekly

  • Day Shift, M - F, no weekends or holiday shifts allowing for work life balance in the beautiful northwest community


DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Heart Institute at UW Medical Center – Montlake & SLU provides a full range of heart healthcare and prevention services including general cardiology, cardiac diagnostic imaging tests and procedures, cardiac surgery, arrhythmia management and electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart services, advanced heart failure management, heart transplant and ventricular assist devices (VADs), adult congenital heart disease management, cardiac psychiatry, cardiovascular genetics and other advanced services.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Float between Echo & Cardiology

  • Float between Montlake & South Lake Union

  • Manage the patient undergoing different Echocardiogram and Stress tests and doing Definity and Bubble Studies as indicated.

  • Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiologists, surgeons, interventionalists, other sub-specialty nurses, advanced practice providers, research team, and administrative staff to coordinate, support, and optimize the medical care of our complex patient population.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington

  • At least 2 years of inpatient or outpatient cardiology/telemetry experience

  • Current BLS & ACLS

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$94,824.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$173,976.00 annual

Other Compensation:

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus $1/hour BSN premium Relocation assistance available
