Job Description

$10,000 Recruitment Incentive to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine

UW Medical Center - Montlake has an opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Registered Nurse to join our Level IV NICU. Our NICU cares for premature and critically ill newborn infants, born here at the UWMC or transported in from outlying hospitals.

DESCRIPTION

  • Bring your experience and great compassion in caring for multiple births and micro preemies—babies born before 26 weeks gestation or weighing less than 2.2 pounds.

  • As part of UW Medicine, the NICU has access to the most advanced neonatal research.

  • Our team has been instrumental in setting the standard for reducing risk of brain damage and lung problems in premature babies across the nation.

  • Come work with an interdisciplinary team of neonatologists, nurses, neonatal physical therapists, respiratory care practitioners, pharmacists, nutritionists, other health professionals and parents as members of a baby's health-care team.


SCHEDULE

  • Night shift, 36 hrs./week


REQUIREMENTS

  • Two or more years experience in Level III NICU or higher NICU

  • Have/obtain a RN license to practice in the state of Washington or MSL

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$94,824.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$173,976.00 annual

Other Compensation:

$10,000 Sign on Bonus BSN or higher premium $1.00/hr Certification premium $1.25/hr Night shift premium $4.50/hr Weekend shift premium $4.00/hr Overtime pay
