MONTLAKE – RADIOLOGY SUPPORT has an outstanding job opportunity for a PATIENT TRANSPORTER / Hospital Assistant position.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 50% FTE (20 hours per week)

  • Day Shift

  • Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am-5:30pm

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

  • Radiology at Montlake provides diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic services to Montlake's patients and providers

  • Through our various services and locations we touch almost every patient at some point in their care continuum

  • Our faculty, technical and support staff are dedicated to providing the absolute best care and service possible

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transportation of patients, supplies, and specimens

  • Transports patients via gurney, wheelchair and bed to ancillary departments

  • Ordering and stocking of supplies

  • Maintain / set up of special equipment

  • Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of Washington

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Valid  American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire
