UW Medicine-Supply Chain Management has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Inventory Control Coordinator.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 100% FTE
  • Monday – Friday
  • Day Shift

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Lead staff in regular cycle counts and requisition of replacement supplies
  • Implement the UW Medicine Supply Chain strategy under direction of the Assistant Director, Strategic Operations
  • Partner with others in UW Medicine Materials & Logistics to make operational improvement programs

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for warehouse inventories; monitoring volumes, flow, and sourcing
  • Analyze product usage and optimize inventory levels
  • Independently make decisions and take action regarding supply shortages, keeping management informed and making recommendations based on independent analysis
  • Maintain/monitor distribution statistics; create monthly reports
  • Assist leadership in managing inventory control projects

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business or Logistics/Supply Chain Management
  • 2 years of Supply Chain Management, business operations or Finance management experience in a healthcare setting

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$61,080.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$91,608.00 annual
