Job Description: The Unit Secretary is responsible for the secretarial aspects of the nursing unit. They act as a support person to the nursing staff and other members of the health care team for indirect aspects of patient care. This position functions as a pivotal communication link between the health care team, other departments and patients and families.

Education:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous employment in an office or health care environment.

This is a bargaining union position.
