Unit Description: The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at UVMMC is a 20 bed level III , 9 bed level II Transition Unit providing care to the most critical infants born within our health system. NICU orientation is thorough and mentorship is well supported as work in the NICU emphasizes a collaborative, collegial team approach.  After 2 years, NICU RNs will train to become part of a Health Net Transfer Team responsible for the transport of infants throughout all of VT and upstate NY requiring NICU care.  

On-call: Not required.
