Lab Assistant – Washroom Operations

We’re looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Lab Assistant to join our washroom operations team. This role is essential to keeping our laboratory running smoothly and safely.  If you take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running efficiently, this is a great opportunity to be part of an important behind‑the‑scenes team.  This position supports the daily operation of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine divisions. The Laboratory Assistant I performs clerical, technical, or both duties as they pertain to the specific Laboratory division.

What You’ll Do

  • Sterilize and clean laboratory equipment according to established protocols

  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels

  • Support overall lab cleanliness and organization

  • Work on your feet for most of the shift in a fast‑paced environment

What This Role Does Not Include

  • No laboratory testing or analytical work

  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures

  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with physical, on‑your‑feet work

  • A team‑oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed

EDUCATION:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Computer/keyboard experience is preferred.
