Lab Assistant – Slide Filing
We’re looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Lab Assistant to join our pathology team. This role is essential to keeping our laboratory specimen slides organized for safe keeping. This is a great opportunity to be part of an important behind‑the‑scenes team. The Laboratory Assistant I performs clerical, technical, or both duties as they pertain to the specific laboratory division.
What You’ll Do
Scanning and Filing glass slides after testing
Pulling slides for pathologists
Organizing slide trays for storage or review
Fast‑paced environment
Assist in building a multidisciplinary conference
What This Role Does Not Include
No laboratory testing or analytical work
What We’re Looking For
Computer knowledgeable
Dependable and punctual individual who works well independently
A team‑oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed
Flexible hours (15 per week and must be consistent)
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Computer/keyboard experience is preferred.
