Job Summary:
The UVMHN Medical Group Director is a key member of the UVMHN Medical Group leadership team. The individual is responsible for ensuring high-value services and operational oversight of their assigned UVMHN Medical Group practices/services. The Medical Group operates in a matrixed environment with close working relationships between Network Department Chairs, Vice Presidents, and Hospital Campus leadership. This position is the assigned leader responsible for standardizing operational processes and policies in support of the mission and vision of the UVM Health Network. This position is responsible for leading people, with an emphasis on UVMHN’s Values, patient access, and the patient experience. This position collaborates with other UVMHN Medical Group Directors and UVMHN hospital-based leaders to support clinical integration and achievement of OKRs. 
 

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration or a related area.

Experience:
Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in health care operational management (if assigned to UVMMC campus, preferably experience in an academic setting).
