About this role
- Transfers patients and other assigned passengers on and/or off-campus, assisting them in entering and exiting vehicle.
- Delivers and/or retrieves materials as instructed.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of materials from vehicle.
- Maintains daily log of mileage, number of trips, passengers/cargo, destination, and fuel and oil consumption.
- Inspects condition of assigned vehicle on a regular basis with regard to oil, fuel, tires, and water.
- Reports any needed adjustments or repairs to supervisors.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
- High school or equivalent and one (1) year related experience.
- Completion of defensive driver course within 30 days of hire.
- Must possess current Texas Class "C" driver's license.

What you'll do
- The driver is responsible for the routine operation and minor maintenance of vehicles used for transporting patients and materials. This includes assisting passengers, maintaining logs, and inspecting vehicle conditions.
