About this role

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree equivalent and one year related experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Ivanti , CMDB , SQL, PL-SQL, Java, Python , REST-API . 

  • 3-5 years of experience working with ITxm systems is preferred.

  • Experience working in a healthcare or academic institution.

 

Job Summary:

Under general direction, this position is responsible for providing basic to intermediate analysis and documentation of business and management problems for systems and programming requirements. Assist in providing solutions to problems utilizing more efficient operational procedure, workflow, and information technology solutions.

 

Job Duties:

  • Learn and provide support for existing enterprise-level Ivanti systems and their integrations with transactional systems.

  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless system operations and support.

  • Application Analysts work closely with customers at all levels to enhance their understanding of the systems we support.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience with ITSM tools such as Ivanti or ServiceNow.

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in asset and configuration tracking using a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

  • In-depth knowledge of Configuration Items (CIs), including hardware, software, network devices, applications, services, and their interdependencies.

  • Working knowledge of REST APIs is required.

  • Experience in troubleshooting issues related to systems we support and able to manage change.

  • Good understanding of enterprise-level ticketing systems.

  • Experience in developing webforms using the given tools.

  • Experience with any programming language to automate Jobs around processes.

  • Experience with Active Directory, MS SQL server, and Windows applications.

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly, share knowledge with team members, and help team members embrace the technology change required.

  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on assigned tasks with minimal oversight.

  • Demonstrate strong documentation skills, including Visio and infrastructure diagrams required.

  • Perform SQL queries and use database tools to examine table structures, indexes, and other database objects with minimal guidance.

  • Supporting the assigned technical areas & business partners

  • Develop functional requirements and technical specifications for coding systems or programs, including the data sources to be utilized.

  • Ability to participate in business requirements gathering sessions and technical reviews.

  • Must be a team player with the ability to work with the team and be accountable for results, which may include the need for overtime work during peak activity periods.

  • Demonstrated initiative, willingness to learn new systems as needed and teach, ability to collaborate, and a propensity to care.

  • Provide exceptional customer service for end-users.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversight.

 

Salary Range:

Actual salary commensurate with experience.

 

Work Schedule:

Remote position. 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
