About this role

The Department of Neurology is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Ataxia Division. Working under the general supervision of faculty and in accordance with established standardized procedures, the APRN/PA will provide comprehensive care to patients with movement disorders.
Primary responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and managing common episodic and chronic neurological conditions, counseling patients and families, and monitoring treatment outcomes. The provider will also assist in medical research activities within the division and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
The APRN/PA will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members, consulting and referring as appropriate, while maintaining responsibility for the ongoing clinical management of assigned patients. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, research support, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
