Primary Purpose: The College of Agriculture and Bioresources is seeking an Online Facilitator for AGRC 445.3 – Experiential Learning in the Workplace during the Spring Term 2026 academic session from May 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026.. This work-integrated learning course supplements full-time student employment and focuses on career readiness, transferable skills, and reflective learning. Nature of Work: Reporting to the Associate Dean Academic of College of Agriculture and Bioresources, the facilitator will instruct, manage and deliver an online, asynchronous course using Canvas. Responsibilities include guiding students through career development activities, grading assignments, and collaborating with Career Services for workshops and mock interviews. Some administrative preparation prior to May 1 is required. Typical Duties or Accountabilities: Education: Candidates are expected to hold a graduate degree in an area relevant to agriculture or the environment. Applicants or those in a closely related discipline will also be considered. Experience: A relevant teaching position and/or experience teaching a course with related content. Experience teaching in an online setting is considered an asset. Skills: Proficient computer applications and technology skills, including web-based course tool (Canvas Course Tools), word processing, email, internet, and other peripheral accessories and software programs; effective leadership, communication and teaching skills; ability to effectively interact, motivate and build relationships with a diverse student population; demonstrated ability to deal with multiple priorities and effectively organize time in a self-directed manner.
