Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:FT position available, D/E/N, holidays and weekends per unit needs, Mon-Saturday, on-call overnight and on-call weekend requirements (must live within 30 minutes of hospital for on-call)
Exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced, state-of-the art environment providing specialized patient care to pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures (biopsies, embolization’s, ablations, angiography, drain placements and other image guided procedures)! This role includes preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring and post procedure recovery including PACU and extended stay (23-hour). IR is an essential part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. This role requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced/team-oriented environment. The IR RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient centered care. New grads welcome!
