Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Reunion Student Ambassadors serve as liaisons to 14 reunion classes and other alumni who return to campus for three days of festivities. Specific responsibilities include engaging with alumni, discussing current student life, greeting alumni at registration, attending and supporting alumni class events, assisting alumni with way finding, and making everyone feel welcome back on campus. This is a paid position that offers a fun and rewarding experience, as well as opportunities to network with fellow Spiders. Housing and food are provided on campus for RSAs who need it for the duration of Reunion Weekend.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Commitment to work Thursday, May 28 at 11 a.m. through Sunday, May 31 at 1 p.m.

  • Attending RSA training on Thursday, May 28 from 11am to 4pm

  • Attending the RSA wrap-up meeting on Sunday, May 31

  • Talking with alumni about current student life

  • Attending and supporting reunion class events

  • Greeting alumni at registration and at events

  • Assisting alumni with way finding throughout campus and new buildings

  • Ensuring all alumni feel warmly welcomed back to campus

  • Other duties as assigned by the program coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:  

All qualified candidates must be full-time, undergraduate UR students. Graduating seniors are encouraged to apply! All candidates must also be in good standing with the University. International student candidates who are graduating in May cannot apply due to visa requirements.

PAY: $13.50 per hour. Estimated 25 hours throughout the weekend with training included.
