We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a hospitality professional to join one of the premium South Island employers, and one of the largest food service operations in New Zealand.
As the Conference and Events Express Caterer, you will oversee a diverse hospitality operation, responsible for delivering to multiple venues and events on campus.

Your key responsibilities will include:
•    A sole charge position with autonomy to make decisions. 
•    Proactively engaging with University Departments to build strong relationships and create new business opportunities.
•    Ensuring our Express Catering Services exceeds the expectations of our clients.
•    Ensuring all aspects of our services embrace and implement the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the University’s Māori and Pacific Strategic Frameworks.

We are looking for candidates with:
•    Experience working in a similar environment and a proven track record in hospitality.
•    A strong customer service ethic that emphasises attention to detail and exceeds expectations.
•    Leadership skills with a high level of organisational skill.
•    Excellent people and relationship management skills.

This is a permanent, part time (32 hours week) position, with weekend and evening work sometimes required. Based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.

The appointment range for this role is $26.96 to $28.04 per hour. Top of Range $28.57.
