This position is based in Central Production Kitchen, within the University Union’s College Catering Department. We’re bringing delicious flavors to The Link in the University Union Building, The Rolling Taco, Uncle Hong’s, and The Noodle Lab with our vibrant pop-up food shops. Our goal is to offer students quick, tasty, and unforgettable bites while creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Are you a foodie with a passion for great customer service? Do you love creating memorable experiences in a fast-paced environment? Join our team as a Front of House Assistant at our student-focused food pop-up shops!
As a Front of House Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face customers see when they visit our pop-ups. From taking orders to serving up smiles, your role is all about delivering an exceptional food experience.

Your skills and experience | Kā pūkeka me kā wheako
A high level of competency, enthusiasm, and the ability to work as part of a team is important. Previous experience in the hospitality industry would be an advantage, along with an ability to help develop respect between primary customers and staff.

This is a permanent, part time (20 hours), semester time only (February to November) position, located in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.
The hours for this position will be worked on a rostered basis.
The appointment range is for this role is $26.96 to $28.04 per hour. Top of Range $28.57.
You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for these positions.
If there is a need, staff may be relocated to another University College on the Dunedin campus.
