Assists faculty and speakers with the use of audio-visual devices and presentation software. Ensures that equipment used for presentations is correctly configured and operating properly. Arranges for and supervises both periodic maintenance and repairs of all audio-visual and classroom equipment. Records lectures and guest presentations. Conducts basic video editing and posts recordings to University websites. Provides group and individual training related to the use of University equipment. Documents and maintains procedures related to the use of all audio-visual and classroom equipment. Keeps all equipment areas neat and well ordered. Ensures that equipment is kept current and meets the changing needs of the University. Keeps abreast of current audio-visual and classroom technologies and practices. Works with IT staff to maintain a listing of all University equipment. Coordinates with IT staff to ensure that proper levels of consumables are kept in stock. Recommends improvements to classrooms and other learning spaces. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Department Specific Functions
Provides support to Medical Education users and activities, within both physical and online environments. Provides support for student technology and related educational services and resources provided to students. Manages and administer Crestron Fusion service Assists with administration and management of learning management system(s) or platform(s) to ensure effective operation. Works closely with faculty and curriculum staff to ensure multimedia products are consistently of high quality and reflect the overall mission. Provides training and related documentation to users for effective operation of educational technology and A/V equipment. Ensures that technology hardware, software, and services are correctly configured and operating properly. Collaborates with faculty and other stakeholders to help facilitate the production of multimedia content. Conducts basic video editing and posts recordings to internal systems and University websites. Creates and maintains departmental procedures and assists with accurate recordkeeping. Manages special projects as assigned.
