The University of Miami Health System (“UHealth”) IT Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Epic Associate Analyst, Cadence.
The Epic Associate Analyst, Cadence assists the team with implementing, building, upgrading, and modifying general applications. The Epic Associate Analyst, Cadence assists the application team members with optimizing the application’s configuration, function, and access and with day-to-day application support and resolving application issues.
Core Responsibilities:
Assists with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application.
Aids with all phases of testing and document workflow design.
Performs basic analysis of new releases and determine how they will impact workflow.
Helps with identifying issues and the work to resolve them.
Assists with providing day-to-day application support, evaluating and resolving service tickets, implementing requested application changes, and retrieving requested data in a timely manner.
Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies
Participates in on-call rotations and support.
Maintains regular communication with team members and participates in weekly project team meetings.
Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Department Specific Functions:
As an Associate Epic Analyst, you will report to the Senior Manager and will be responsible for:
Assisting the team with implementing, building, upgrading, and modifying the application
Assisting application team members with optimizing the application’s configuration, function, and access
Assisting the team with day-to-day application support and resolving application issues
Travel to the job site during go-lives, conferences, rounding, and/or senior leadership meetings.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or healthcare -related organization.
Relevant Epic Certification or attained within 6 months of hire
Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
