Your next career opportunity

As the Senior Coordinator, Exhibitions, you will play a pivotal role in managing exhibition programming across five iconic University venues. You will collaborate closely with the Collections team and Curatorial and Exhibitions Teams to ensure the successful delivery and dispersal of exhibitions. This is your chance to enhance cultural engagement and contribute to the University's strategic direction, while gaining invaluable experience in exhibition management and conservation.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Advocate for Collection Interests: Represent and facilitate display and conservation requirements within exhibition project teams.
  • Manage Exhibition Logistics: Coordinate inward loans, including agreements, packing, freight, and insurance for temporary exhibitions.
  • Enhance Collection Standards: Contribute to the development of documentation standards, workflows, and guidelines.
  • Support Academic Engagement: Facilitate displays, workshops, and internships to provide students with industry experience.
     

You may be a great fit if

You have experience managing local, national, and international loans and commissions, with expertise in contract management, logistics, risk mitigation, and a strong understanding of conservation principles.

You may also

  • Have experience with EMu Collection Management system or similar.
  • Possess excellent stakeholder management skills, working with lenders, freight companies, and insurance brokers.
  • Be adept at preparing and analysing registration budgets and managing expenditures.
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and respect within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Hold a relevant tertiary degree and/or sector experience.
