As the Manager of the Mathematics and Statistics Learning Centre (MSLC) at the University of Melbourne, you'll lead a dynamic team in delivering innovative, large-scale teaching and learning support. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of mathematics and statistics educational operations, oversee and integrate cutting-edge technologies that foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Provide Administrative Leadership: Oversee MSLC operations, aligning with the school’s education strategy and University-wide initiatives. 

  • Manage Educational Systems and Processes: Implement and evaluate programs, technologies, and systems to support large-scale mathematics and statistics teaching. 

  • Foster Inclusive Learning: Develop initiatives to improve student equity, accessibility, and learning outcomes for diverse cohorts. 

  • Lead Professional Development: Supervise and mentor staff, manage tutor recruitment and training, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. 

  • Note that this is a professional staff managerial position and does not include any direct classroom teaching.
