Your next career opportunity 
As an Educational Designer at Melbourne Law School, you will collaborate with academic and professional staff to create technology-enhanced learning activities and experiences that deepen student engagement. You will have the opportunity to build capacity among academic staff, develop learning innovation projects, and contribute to the University's Advancing Students and Education strategy. In this role you will develop high-level stakeholder relationships, lead transformative change in teaching, learning and assessment, while building the experience and expertise to advance your career in learning design and technology.

This parental-leave cover role will appeal to education professionals eager to develop learning design expertise, build skills in assessment redesign and educational technologies, and collaborate with passionate academics looking to innovate their teaching and learning practices.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Collaborating on learning design: Work with academic staff to design, develop, and implement innovative learning resources and activities.
• Driving learning innovation: Engage in projects supported by pedagogical frameworks to enhance teaching and assessment strategies.
• Maximise the potential of digital learning platforms: Provide technical expertise and support for Canvas LMS and other educational technologies
• Building strategic relationships: Cultivate effective partnerships with stakeholders across the University to align resources and strategies.

You may be a great fit if: 
You bring creativity and expertise in educational design, with a strong focus on student-centred learning experiences and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards.

You may also: 

• Possess a tertiary degree with relevant experience in educational design.
• Have experience in developing and implementing educational frameworks and methodologies.
• Have a proven track record in facilitating professional learning activities.
