The University of Maryland Medicine Philanthropy (MMP) is currently recruiting for a Leadership Annual Giving Officer II. The Leadership Annual Giving Officer is responsible for developing, executing, and advancing a comprehensive strategy to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors who make annual gifts between $1,000 and $24,999. This role collaborates closely with colleagues across Annual Giving, Major Gifts, Communications, Events, and Stewardship to create an integrated donor experience that blends personalized outreach, strategic cultivation, meaningful engagement opportunities, and thoughtful recognition.

This individual reports directly to the Executive Director of Annual Giving.

Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Three (3) years of development experience in annual giving, phone-a-thons, alumni relations, special events, or fundraising in a health care or higher education setting.

Other: Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 undergraduate college credits being equivalent to one year of related experience. In instances where specific education and/or experience is required only directly related education and/or experience may be substituted.

Hiring Range: $71,000 - $79,000, Commensurate with education and experience
