The University of Maryland Baltimore School of Medicine Department of Diagnostic Radiology has an opening for a Clinical Research Specialist. This position will work on interventional radiology and interventional oncology scope both in clinical research and clinical projects.
Research jobs use creativity and systematic study of real-world issues affecting the human condition and discover social and/or scientific information and reach a new understanding to improve the health, justice, and serve the public good. The Clinical Research Specialist assists social scientists in laboratory, survey, and other social science research. This position may help prepare findings for publication and assist in laboratory analysis, quality control, or data management.

PRIMARY DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific field of study related to the research of the clinical setting.
Experience: Three (3) years clinical research including two (2) years in the relevant research specialization, preferably in Medicine, Surgery, Oncology or Radiology (cancer and/or vascular highly preferred).
Other: May consider a combination of directly related experience and education.

Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently. HIRING RANGE: $64,000 - $70,000 per year / Commensurate with education and experience
