The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing is seeking Staff Nurses to join the Main Operating Room, for the General Surgery/Vascular Team 6. These nurses will assist the Nursing team in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager. The Main Operating Room at University of Iowa Health Care features 30 operating rooms dedicated to adult surgical specialties and operates 24/7. Intra-operative services are organized into five teams, staffed by Registered Nurses and Surgical Technologists.
Characteristic Duties of our Staff Nurses include but are not limited to:
Percent of Time: 100%25
Schedule: Straight evening shift 4x10 or 5x8 1100-2130 or 1500-2330, occasional weekends, holidays and call weekly
Location: University Main Campus
Salary: $61,183 (at 100%25 effort) to commensurate *this does not include inpatient or shift differential
Pay Differentials: Shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Inpatient differentials up to $10,000 per year
OR Premium Pay: Up to $10,000 at (100%25 effort).
